The expressivity of color

Showing the nature that surrounds me from observation,

freed from references;

to seek its essence until it becomes an absolute space,

like a resonance

translated into color, in a constant celebration of the act

of painting.

LANDSCAPE PRAISE

Installation made by the exhibition space La Calàndria.

The work consists of 15 pieces of one meter by one

meter, painted continuously as frieze. This format

invites participation, since it cannot be assimilated from

a single look, the observer travels throughout the work

in a journey in which the singularities of each of the

pieces that make up the whole are perceived.

MAREMAR. WHEN GEOMETRY GIVES WAY TO PAINTING.

This piece was created on the occasion of the celebration

of the end of the stage as a teacher at the Institut

Maremar del Masnou, in June 2024. It is a pictorial

work of 98 X 192 cm made on a collage of geometric

exercises, which has been fragmented into 72 units of

the same size all of them, 16 X 16 cm, and numbered

from the first to the last to be shared and delivered to

students and colleagues of the center.

EVERY STROKE, THE ESSENCE

These small-format pieces concentrate the essence of the

creative process. They are an exercise where color and

gesture become absolute protagonists. The painting

takes shape while it is made: a stain or a tone invite

another, and it is necessary to keep an eye on all the

elements involved to build, as a whole, a dynamic and

apparently spontaneous composition.

ORIGINS

The process and act of painting take center stage. There

is no pre-drawn image: the paint itself generates and

defines the forms, becoming both the subject and the

content.

NOMADIC LANDSCAPES

Resulting from a creative process from the observation

of the natural environment, these pieces are a

representation of nature that is not based on

superficialities or anecdotes, but that seeks the essence

and where color and gesture become protagonists,

configuring a dynamic composition.
